The Armistice Flute Choir is a prominent peace-inspired contemporary music ensemble based in Sydney. "Armistice" means truce, ceasefire, agreement. Armistice Flutes perform their own compositions/improvisations against wars, promoting peace and hope. The five piece group is led by acclaimed Australian/British composer and musician Keyna Wilkins and features a wonderful ensemble of multi-talented performers from a variety of cultural backgrounds; Liz Cheung, Chloe Chung, Laura Chislett, Jessica Scott. Formed in 2025, the collective brings together some of Australia’s finest classical and cross-cultural woodwind musicians to create unique sonic responses against conflict. The name "Armistice" underscores their core mission: to utilize musical composition and spontaneous improvisation to promote a message of truce, hope, and global peace. Their performances blend traditional Western classical techniques, experimental acoustics, and global folk elements to craft deeply reflective atmospheres. Over the past year, they have regularly partnered with local charity fundraisers and peace advocacy groups across Sydney, especially events raising money for food distribution projects in Gaza. In December they recorded their debut album at A Sharp Studios Riverwood - 45 minutes of their 7 works for 5 flutes including bass flute, alto flute, piccolo and C flute, titled “Hope”.  All profits from the concerts and the album are donated to Palestinian Children's Relief Fund.
