Symphony Orchestra and Didgeridu Solo. Advanced. c.21'30''.

Celestial Emu ("Dhinawan") is a collaboration between Keyna Wilkins, Gumaroy Newman and The Metropolitan Orchestra. While the orchestral parts are full notated and the didgeridu part is only partially notated, with sections of structured improvisation. (Wilkins is happy to rework the piece depending on the keys of the didgeridus available) The work is based on the legend of the constellation "Emu In The Sky", from the Kamilaroi people from Northern NSW, where Gumaroy is from. According to Aboriginal legend, emus are creator spirits that fly and look over the land. Composed 2020.

Triple Flute Concerto c.17'00. Advanced/Professional. This three movement work is based on the triple star system KOI, located in the constellation Cygnus composed of three stars represented by three flutes: KOI-5 A, KOI-5 B and KOI-5 C, orbiting each other at 1,870±70 light-years away. The title comes from the Roman concept of three rulers working together, a Triumvirate,their spheres/orbits overlapping, intertwining and separating simultaneous. Composed 2023.

Clarinet Nonet: Solo Clarinet in B/b/Bass Clarinet and 9 piece string ensemble (or string quartet and double bass), c.11'45. Our place in a changing world, a responses to the 2019-2020 Australian bushfires

Orchestral - an urban symphony based on Preston - a suburb of Melbourne. c.4'15. Intermediate-Advanced. 

Solo Flute and Orchestra c.10'40. Advanced. Dark matter is a hypothetical form of matter thought to account for approximately 85% of the matter in the universe. Composed 2023.

Saxophone Orchestra, c.4'30.  Level of difficulty - 7th Grade and above.

Exploring the harmonic possibilities of such homogenous sounding ensemble by using the analogy of a dinner party in which the guests begin to have a polite conversation, which descends into argument in which they are all shouting at once.  By the time they leave, however, they have found resolution. Musically the motifs are developed in an intuitive free-flowing manner, centering around G Minor. Composed 2012.
